Mrs. Krull: Over Thirty Years of Teaching By: Thomas Hennessy & Greg Ioannides

Mrs. Krull: Over Thirty Years of Teaching
By: Thomas Hennessy & Greg Ioannides

Mrs. Krull has done quite a lot in her academic career. She has taught 17 years in Jackson Heights, Queens, and 16 years in Island Trees. Mrs. Krull got her master’s degree in education at Queens College. Her first teaching job was at Jackson Heights, where she taught for 17 years and made many good friends. She prefers her job at Island Trees more than Jackson Heights because it is closer to her home. She started working in Island Trees in the year of 2000. At first, she was worried that she would not be able to make new friends at Island Trees, but over time she made many friends. Things she’s done in Island Trees include running the Math Club, volunteering for the Washington, D.C. trip, and working at the summer SCOPE program. Retiring for her is bitter-sweet. She is excited to retire, but will miss the students and her good friends at Island Trees. She has plans on becoming a pet groomer once she retires. Before the end of the school year, we recommend you stop by her room and say your goodbyes!!!
